Muphamuzi Baby Home
Muphamuzi Baby Home was opened in 2012 and is a bridge between abandoned and cherished where safety is found, a family is given, and hope is restored. Here, members of Living Hope Church provide exceptional, nurturing, round-the-clock care for precious little ones who have been abandoned. But exceptional care is not the ultimate goal of the home – it is finding permanent Christian adoptive families for each child who comes. It is run by 1Hope4Africa, a non-profit organization that is closely tied to Living Hope Church. All of the staff of MBH are members of Living Hope Church.
Presently, the home is licensed by the South African government to care for up to 6 babies at a time. The current needs include formula, diapers, wipes, creams, lotions, shampoo, and other essentials for baby care as well as much needed funds for caregiver support.
