Muphamuzi Baby Home

The construction of a bedroom and a playroom will enable the home to care for 30 additional infants and toddlers.

Opened in February 2012, the Muphamuzi Baby Home exists as “a bridge between abandoned and cherished where safety is found, a family is given, and hope is restored.”  Here, members of Living Hope Church provide exceptional, nurturing, round-the-clock care for precious little ones who have been abandoned.  But exceptional care is not the ultimate goal of the home – it is finding permanent Christian adoptive families for each child that comes.

Presently, the home is licensed by the South African government to care for up to 6 babies at a time; this expansion project, scheduled for early 2013, will allow it to care for over 30.

Psalm 68:5-6 “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God makes a home for the lonely…”
